01 / Scope and Stage Guide
Assess one live workflow, not the whole organization. Use evidence from daily work. If the workflow sits between two stages, choose the lower stage.
Choose the stage the evidence supports
1 · Isolated Experiments: Results depend on the individual. Sources, ownership, and review vary by person.
2 · Defined Workflows: One workflow is repeatable, with named owners, approved sources, defined handoffs, and a scheduled review rhythm.
3 · Integrated Operating System: Shared standards and correction rhythms hold across connected functions under normal operating pressure.
02 / Five Readiness Signals
Select a stage for each signal and record the evidence. Do not average the ratings: the weakest signal sets the maturity level for this review.
1. Workflow ownership
Is ownership explicit, active, and understood by the people using the workflow?
2. Source trust model
Are approved sources and source boundaries defined?
3. Review rhythm
Are quality, corrections, and exceptions reviewed routinely?
4. Cross-functional alignment
Do teams share product truth, preserve technical and sourcing context, and understand the handoffs?
5. Adoption behavior
Is the workflow used consistently in live work, including when pressure rises?
03 / Next Correction
Use the assessment to agree on one correction. A stage rating is not an automatic approval to scale.
