VISIBLE OR INVISIBLE · CHAPTER 18

Sprint-to-Scale
Execution Framework

Start with one small test.

Plan one small test and record how the work happens today. Save your starting notes, then return after the test to compare what changed.

The worksheet is loading. If this message stays, enable scripts in the Code Module and test outside the Divi Visual Builder.

Figure 22. Sprint-to-Scale Execution Framework. Pilot one workflow leads to the Evidence gate. All five conditions met? Yes leads to Stabilize the flow; No returns to Pilot one workflow to correct and retest. A dashed arrow returns from Stabilize the flow to the Evidence gate. Stabilize the flow leads to Scale one dimension. The Five Controls are Owner, Source boundary, Review cadence, Escalation rule, and Sign-off boundary.

Saving and privacy

“Save working copy” downloads an editable JSON file. Open it in this reader version to continue later. Browser saving is optional and only keeps a copy in this browser profile. It does not sync across devices and can be lost when browser data is cleared. Other users of this profile may be able to access it.

This module does not send your notes to a server, email service, or AI system. Your host website may have its own scripts and policies. Follow your organization’s data rules. Printing makes a reading copy, not an editable working file. Detailed team-version working files belong in that version; this reader will not import them or discard their fields.

STARTING NOTES

Pilot one workflow

Start anywhere

Four notes are enough to start the conversation. You don’t need to finish them all now.

Keep it to one piece of work you can observe.

Think about a useful customer or business outcome.

Start small enough to see what happens.

Record a starting point: time taken, errors or rework, where work stalls, or how often it escalates. Include the source or date if you have it.

The Five Controls

Keep the owner, source boundary, review cadence, escalation rule, and sign-off boundary in mind as you plan.

Before live testing: agree the improvement you expect, how the work will be reviewed, when to pause, and who decides whether to proceed, adjust, or stop.

More guidance from the book
  • Owner: make responsibility clear.
  • Source boundary: agree the approved sources, data, and environment.
  • Review cadence: agree when to review the work.
  • Escalation rule: know when and where to raise a concern.
  • Sign-off boundary: keep the necessary human decisions explicit.

Keep the first test bounded. The book suggests a small cross-functional group and distinguishes work to automate, assist, or protect. Agree the appropriate safeguards with your team before using the workflow live.

Already tried it?

The gate is part of the speed.

Leave with one small pilot, a clear starting point, and a next step. Save now and return when you have evidence from the test.
